Every woman has the right to an empowering, liberating, and deeply fulfilling fertility and Motherhood experience.
Unfortunately, contemporary culture makes this inordinately difficult to attain by conditioning us to devalue our inner femininity, our bodies, and our inherent gifts and capacities, leading to an experience of Motherhood that is often filled with anxiety and fear.
How can we expect to have the Motherhood journey we deserve if we’re still viewing our being and our bodies through this distorted lens?
Deprogramming ourselves of this cultural conditioning is the single most powerful thing we can do to ensure that our fertility and Motherhood journeys are expansive, enlightening, and even liberatory.
As women raised in a patriarchal society, we are conditioned to see and experience our biology through the lens of internalized misogyny. This is why we associate menstruation with shame, pregnancy with occupation and colonization, childbirth with suffering and trauma, and maternity with martyrdom and self-annihilation. Freeing ourselves from this perverse ideology can allow us to experience our being and our bodies as authentic sources of power and tap into inner resources we’ve forgotten we had.
Best of all, deprogramming ourselves doesn’t require us to learn anything new, but is about stripping away the beliefs and ideologies that are no longer serving us, so that we can live and Mother from a place of power and fullness as opposed to unworthiness and lack.
So how do we do this? How do we begin to deprogram ourselves, so that we can have the Motherhood experience we both desire and deserve?
My foundational course, “Motherhood: A Metaphysics,” will help you unlock the aspects of yourself that will enable you to break free of internalized misogyny and patriarchal mythology, so that you can experience life, your being, and your body in all of their abundance, sacredness, and power.
Together, we will learn how to:
Relinquish control and the need for certainty, so that we can begin to deepen our trust in Mystery
Awaken to the deeper dimensions of female biology, so that we can experience our bodies and their capacities as sources of wisdom, power, and alchemy
Confront limiting beliefs about ourselves so that we can stop being limited by these beliefs
Return to our fundamental wholeness, so that we can overcome our dependence on approval, achievement, and other forms of external validation
Reframe our relationships with anxiety, fear, grief, and other challenges, so that we can navigate them from a place of strength as opposed to victimization

My Story
Six years ago, I was struggling with depression, anxiety, and infertility, and living an achievement-obsessed existence that was no longer sustaining me. After medical treatment failed to heal me and in many ways seemed to make things worse, I stepped away and began a journey to heal my relationship with Life, my being, and my body.
Over time I began to understand that what I was suffering from wasn’t just a variety of mental and physical health issues, but more fundamentally, a culturally conditioned distrust of my inner femininity.
Recovering this half of my being and wholeness allowed me to begin to live from within myself again, in tune with my deepest desires and needs, instead of from within my conceptual mind and acquired knowledge and beliefs.
Not only did I overcome my depression and anxiety, and begin to experience more joy and ease in my life, but I completely reversed the diagnosis fertility doctors had given me, became pregnant naturally, and went on to have an experience of pregnancy, childbirth, and Motherhood that was profoundly healing, empowering, and liberating, even when it was challenging.
After counseling women informally, I realized I had a responsibility to bring the transformative wisdom I'd received to others, which is how this course was born.
You can learn more about me and my work here.

Still not sure? Allow me to field some common questions:
What if I have limited time?
I know the feeling. Feel free to go at your own pace or stick with the rest of the group. You can also listen to the teachings on-the-go (in the car, on a walk, in the kitchen). A recent student listened to them on her evening drives to night school!
What if I still don’t understand what you mean by "cultural conditioning?"
No problem. Cultural conditioning describes the subtle ways in which our consciousness (how we relate to ourselves and the world around us) is influenced by the culture in which we live. And because western culture is fundamentally patriarchal, much of our thinking and experiences are colored by patriarchal beliefs and values that we’ve assimilated over time. For example, most of us privilege rational thinking over our intuitions because we’ve been conditioned to view the rational as superior to all other forms of intelligence, and such conditioning can profoundly impact our experience of Motherhood.
What exactly do you mean by "inner femininity?"
Inner femininity has nothing to do with biological gender but describes the part of our consciousness that maintains a connection to the greater whole that created and encompasses us, and an awareness of Life's inherent mystery and sacredness.
This is the form of consciousness we lived from as young children and that we find ourselves in during certain life experiences, such as making art, communing with nature, falling in love, holding our newborn children, or any experience where rational concepts no longer seem to apply.
Living in tune with our inner femininity can allow us to return to a relationship with Life and our being that is predicated on trust, openness, and interconnection, instead of fear, control, and separation.
What if this all feels too "woo woo" for me?
I get it. I have a powerful "woo woo reflex" and find that it's very useful to pay attention to because it's actually a consequence of our conditioning!
In western society, we've been conditioned to be skeptical of everything that isn’t informed by scientific thinking, which we tend to privilege over all other forms of thought.
Thus, being aware of our “woo woo reflex" can alert us to our tendency to close ourselves off to what life is offering us, and in turn, our need to open back up.
Staying alert to my own "woo woo reflex" has even made me aware of how I'm inherently less trusting of esoteric or spiritual teachings that are disseminated by women as opposed to men!
